In partnership with the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager supports daily retail operations, including marketing and advertising initiatives, customer service resolution, employee training and development, inventory management, and all other aspects of store operations. Additionally, you'll be working in a fast-paced, innovative environment that values every member of our team.Responsibilities and Duties:Operational Oversight:Collaborate with the Store Manager to supervise daily operations, assignments, and team performanceSupport recruiting, hiring, training, and ongoing development of store staff to build a high-performing teamMaintain a professional, respectful, and positive demeanor when interacting with employees, vendors, and customers.Foster a welcoming, organized, and engaging store environment to create an exceptional shopping experienceFinancial Management:Assist the Store Manager with budgeting, ordering, and operational planning to meet financial goalsMonitor and safeguard retail assets to minimize shrinkage and protect company resourcesSupport loss prevention initiatives and ensure adherence to company policies and proceduresCustomer Service:Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service across the store and guide team members to do the sameEnsure customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded in line with company standardsResolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, turning challenges into positive experiencesQualificationsOutstanding communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong leadership abilities with experience guiding and motivating a teamStrong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processingAbility to respond to staffing issues and emergencies as neededValid driver's license with reliable transportationPhysically able to stand, bend, and kneel throughout the duration of a shiftFlexible availability, including weekends and shifts opposite the Store Manager
