Our experiencedJob DescriptionBrookline College is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant Instructor/Externship Coordinator for our Phoenix campus. This role is responsible for both classroom/lab instruction and externship course management. Duties include delivering engaging, student-centered instruction; developing lesson plans and learning objectives; evaluating student progress; maintaining accurate records; supporting diverse student needs; and participating in faculty activities.The position also oversees externship programs by coordinating student placements, maintaining employer partnerships, monitoring student progress and attendance, conducting site visits, ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, and collaborating with Career Services to support employment outcomes. Additional responsibilities include student retention efforts, professional communication, data collection, project management, and adherence to college policies and procedures.QualificationsMinimum of a high school diploma; Associate degree preferredGraduate of an Allied Health Diploma Program preferredThree (3) years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant. Advanced education or a college degree is preferred but will consider candidates with equivalent experienceDemonstrable expertise in Medical Assisting Ability to mentor a highly diverse student populationAbility to work independentlyProficient in interpersonal oral presentation and excellent communication skillsProficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Powerpoint, Campus View, and Canvas ( or other Learning Management Systems)Additional InformationWe Offer:Medical, Dental, and Vision starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment2 Weeks’ starting Vacation per year.
