This role helps ensure products and materials are purchased accurately, cost-effectively, and delivered on time to support business operations.The Purchasing Administrative Assistant works closely with suppliers and internal departments to maintain smooth purchasing processes and resolve day-to-day purchasing issues. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:Create and process purchase orders accurately and on time.Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, lead times, and shipment updates.Track open orders and follow up on delayed or back-ordered items.Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and documentation.Assist in sourcing products and identifying alternative suppliers when needed.Coordinate with internal departments regarding purchasing requirements and order status.Review and verify order confirmations, invoices, and shipment details.Support inventory replenishment activities and purchasing schedules.Resolve basic purchasing and supplier-related issues in a timely manner.
