All applicants must possess an active real estate license in either IL, MN, WI, or IN.The Transaction Coordinator role involves collaborating within our team to manage all compliance and administrative aspects of the listings, transaction, and commission process. Daily Agent interaction is a key part of this crucial operational role.The support our Transaction Coordinators provide allows our Agents to focus on building client relationships and developing their businesses. Our team provides comprehensive support and acts as the central point of contact for all relevant stakeholders, ensuring a smooth closing process. From document preparation and deadline tracking, to regular updates for all parties to a transaction, your goal is to facilitate the process for Agents and clients at every stage. You will also collaborate closely with local lenders, attorneys, and title companies, utilizing your extensive experience and strong industry contacts for each contract you process.At Compass You Will:Handle document tracking for a large volume of real estate transactions from listing to close, and/or contract to close, ensuring compliance with brokerage and legal requirements - averaging roughly 25-30 closings per monthEnsure real estate contracts are processed properly and in a timely matter, with a focus on the detailsManage and track contract deadlines to ensure all timelines are metNavigate company systems to validate accuracy of compliance and commission recordsProvide support to Agents in response to inquiries regarding commission payouts, deductions, and commission calculationsCollaborate with sales managers and other support teams to offer outstanding support to the agentsWhat We Are Looking For:2+ years of experience in a dedicated Transaction Coordinator roleReal estate license in requiredFamiliarity with standard real estate forms used in IllinoisStrong written, quantitative, verbal, and presentation skillsAbility to digest detailed contracts and make informed decisions based on contentAbility to maintain strict confidentiality of Agent's contract dataWork independently and collaboratively in a team environmentCustomer service-oriented personalityImpeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skillsB.A. or B.S. degree preferredCompensation:The salary pay range for this position is a base pay of $30.00 - $36.00 pr/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location.
