Audit Coordinator – AutomotivePosition SummaryThe Audit Coordinator supports compliance, documentation, and audit readiness for Automotive pricing and commercial processes. This role serves as the central coordination point for SOx, IATF, and internal audits while ensuring adherence to pricing agreement documentation requirements.The position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as success depends on coordinating cross-functional teams and leading compliance efforts without direct authority.Key Responsibilities1. Contract & Pricing AdministrationEnsure Automotive Account Teams adhere to documentation standards defined by the Price Agreement Negotiation and Approval process.Serve as the primary Automotive gatekeeper for obtaining required Account Manager signatures for new and renewed Automotive Price Agreements.Coordinate the collection of required documentation during the start and completion of annual account negotiations.Maintain and manage the North America Automotive SharePoint repository, ensuring accurate organization and quick retrieval of official pricing agreement records.Support long-term initiatives focused on improving and automating automotive pricing processes.2. SOx Audit CoordinationAct as the primary SOx audit contact for Automotive teams.Coordinate compliance with the Price Agreement Implementation SOP across Automotive Account Teams.Provide subject matter guidance on SOP requirements and documentation standards.Assist teams in collecting and preparing audit documentation.Ensure all records are properly stored in designated restricted-access systems.Provide audit documentation to management and internal or external auditors upon request.Develop and maintain reporting tools and documentation required for SOx compliance.Lead training sessions, meetings, and one-on-one reviews to reinforce compliance practices.Review and reject documentation that does not meet SOx audit requirements.3. IATF Audit SupportCoordinate Automotive participation in IATF audits across relevant business units.Maintain and review SOPs governing Automotive activities related to IATF compliance.Ensure processes related to part information receipt, review, and knowledge transfer meet IATF standards.Train Automotive Account Team members on audit procedures and SOP requirements.4. General Audit SupportParticipate in and support General Audit (GA) reviews impacting Automotive processes.5. Leadership & Additional ResponsibilitiesManage and mentor the Pricing Administrator, including performance reviews, career development, and day-to-day support.Support ongoing process improvements and compliance initiatives.Perform additional duties as assigned.Required QualificationsSkillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Experience using SharePoint for document management preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to technical teams and senior leadership.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.EducationBachelor’s degree required.ExperienceAudit experience required, preferably related to SOx or financial compliance.Experience in manufacturing environments strongly preferred.Steel or automotive industry experience is a plus.5+ years of experience in automotive steel or related industry, with exposure to commercial or sales processes is a plusSAP experience is a plus.
