End Line Technician

Machine Operator Work Schedule: B Crew - DaysPosition Summary: Machine operator that will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the mechanical End Line equipment.Essential Functions/Key DeliverablesEnsure overall Production of machines and quality according to specification sheets.Ability to do basic repairs on the equipment.Ability to read and understand the information contained on the PO sheet.Check accuracy and quality of finished ends.Locate and clear basic jams that may occur on the machines during Production.Correctly read and interpret messages/statuses on the control panels.Assist with regular servicing and solving of problems regarding machinery.Actively support the maintenance team during line changeover.Train or assist other employees on the daily practices of Production related duties, such as, but not limited to, product changes, housekeeping and visual quality checks.Basic knowledge of the shell press, liners and conversion press.Comply with all Health & Safety regulations, rules, procedures, and policies. Comply with all environmental requirements as stipulated in ISO 14001 and BRC procedures and guidelines on Health & Safety.Perform any reasonable duties assigned by management staff, corresponding with the role.Knowledge/Skills/ExperienceGood Mechanical aptitude is a must.Experience in a Manufacturing facility is a plus.Basic knowledge of US measurement.Ability to use calipers and micrometers.Problem solving skills.Ability to organize own work.Basic knowledge of computers.Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair is a plus.Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environment protection regulations.Physical DemandsLift/Carry 10 lbs or less F 11-25 lbs O 25 lbs or more (up to possible 100 lb) OPush/Pull 10 lbs or less F 11-25 lbs O 25 lbs or more (up to possible 100 lb) OStand C Walk C Sit O Manually Manipulate O Reach Outward O Reach Above Shoulder O Climb O Crawl O Squat or Kneel O Bend FOther Physical Requirements Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth) Sense of Sound - Ability to understand conversational speaking Sense of Touch Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - per safety guidelines Mobility to cover expansive manufacturing environmentWork Environment Ability to work in an environment that can become very hot (temperature) depending on the weather.Reasonable Accommodations Statement To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
