The company continues to seek talented and dedicated team members to help achieve our goal of becoming the nationwide leader in our market niche.The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for performing daily bank reconciliations, preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, reviewing expense accounts, creating and maintaining periodic reporting, and managing the fixed asset system. This role also supports the Controller in preparing miscellaneous confidential correspondence and plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Role and ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly accruals and journal entries Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations Conduct general cost accounting and related financial analysis Lead the monthly close process and ensure accuracy of financial statements Reconcile cash disbursement accounts and bank activity Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system and reconciled daily in QuickBooks Review and verify transactions are charged to appropriate accounts Perform month-end intercompany reconciliations and payment offsets with related entities Maintain and manage fixed asset records and schedules Assist with process improvements and internal controls Perform other duties as assigned QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting (BBA in Accounting required) Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Accounting Software High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently with minimal supervision
