Candidates should be diligent, hardworking and have a positive attitude.Job Description:Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physicallyCheck products for defects and accuracyPull, pack and ship finished goodsLoad, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicleInspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenanceUnload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned placesPull orders from shelves, and then place and secure onto palletCommunicate with managers to identify equipment in need of maintenanceEnsure appropriate safety measures are followedMake sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shiftHelp maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilitiesMay occasionally help on local job-sites (building and tearing down of structures and loading of trucks)Other duties as requiredRequirementsRequired license or certification:Forklift License PreferredCurrent Valid Driver`s LicenseEducation Requirements:High school or equivalentCompensation:HourlyOvertime PayRequirements:Be willing to travel occasionally to sites under construction in the USPass background check and drug screening requirementsBi-lingual in Spanish and English preferredFamiliar with basic hand toolsPay attention to detail and become familiar with industrial equipmentAble to work overtime occasionallyAble to read and understand safety instructionsForklift experience and license preferredWilling to complete forklift training preferredExperience with the loading and unloading of trucks preferred (flat-beds and/or trailers)Small engine repair and maintenance skills preferred but not requiredStand continuously for long periods of timeAble to repeatedly lift-up to 75IbsWork Environment Is exposed to excessive noiseIs around moving machineryIs exposed to dustMay be required to work outdoorsWearing of safety clothing and equipment may at times be requiredBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceShort Term Disability401KPaid HolidaysFloating HolidayApply for this job
