Job Overview We are seeking an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our SUD team. The ideal candidate will provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families under the supervision of a licensed therapist. Duties - Conduct counseling sessions with clients, including children, families, and individuals - Implement treatment plans and interventions based on clinical assessments - Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychopharmacology - Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care - Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and treatment outcomes Skills - Proficiency in child and family counseling - Knowledge of addiction counseling principles - Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote counseling sessions - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality protocols - Strong clinical counseling skills with a focus on behavioral health - Ability to apply cognitive behavioral therapy techniques effectively Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.50 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Experience: Addiction counseling: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: AMFT (Required) Ability to Commute: Van Nuys, CA 91406 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Van Nuys, CA 91406: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
