Project Leader – Field Operations Chemical Cleaning & Passivation | Mission-Critical Data Center EnvironmentsWe've been retained to identify a Project Leader for a nationally recognized precision chemical cleaning and passivation contractor serving hyperscale and enterprise data center clients across the central and eastern U.S. This is a senior field leadership role for someone who has run the work, led the crew, and is ready to own the job site, the client relationship, and the budget.The OpportunityYou'll lead the full project lifecycle - planning, staffing, scheduling, execution, and documentation - for chemical cleaning, passivation, derouge, bio-cleaning, hydro/pneumatic testing, and system drying of H₂O and glycol systems inside active data center environments. Projects run in Atlanta, DC/Northern Virginia, Philadelphia, Indiana, Texas, and other major markets, with travel home between assignments.What You'll OwnFull project execution and on-site crew leadershipEquipment skid and hose configuration for proper flow and chemical contactJob-level gross profit and budget performancePrimary client interface: professional, proactive, solutions-orientedCoordination with other contractors and site teams in live environmentsSafety leadership: PJHAs, safety talks, compliance enforcementReal-time troubleshooting of chemical mixtures and equipmentMentorship and development of associate and field techniciansWhat You Bring3+ years of chemical cleaning, passivation, or process piping field experience1–3 years leading remote field projects as the responsible leadStrong fluid systems background: hydronic piping, water treatment, O&G flushing/purging, industrial cleaning, environmental services, offshore drilling, or similarWorking command of minimum velocity in flushing contexts, pH neutralization, calibration, and testingHS diploma/GED required; technical training or AA preferredSolid documentation discipline and Microsoft Office proficiencyCompensation & Total PackageThe total earning power on this role meaningfully exceeds comparable foreman or lead-tech positions in the market:Competitive senior-level base payGenerous daily per diem covering food and lodging Consistent, substantial overtime during active project phasesRental vehicle provided per job; company-funded crew transport on longer projectsStructured automatic base increases at 6, 12, and 18 monthsSchedule & TravelExtensive travel to project sites with return home between assignments.
