Junior Project Controller

GreenXT is seeking Junior Level Project Controllers to provide direct support to our Navy customers in the areas of financial management, contracting, and budget planning. Our Project Controllers work with our Program Managers to ensure a project stays within budget and that all deliverables are executed on time.About GreenXTGreenXT is comprised of technical and business leaders. The idea that our hard work can help make their jobs easier, assist them to defend our nation, and can help ensure they return home safely to their loved ones motivates us every day, and we hope that you join us on that mission!Responsibilities And DutiesDevelop project schedules and budgets based on contract funded and ceiling valuesOversee and identify plan deviations; recommend and execute corrective actions for project complianceWork closely and maintain open communication with government customers, Program Managers, Accounting department, and Team Leads regarding tasking, travel, funding, and projectionsCarefully monitor and manage funding for personnel to ensure required tasking can be completedGather, track, and create deliverable reports of financial information for contractsPerform routine contract work using prescribed and standardized methodsOversee timesheet records for employees and ensure they are compliant with company guidelinesCoordinate with subcontract companies, issue Purchase Orders based on assigned tasking, and verify that contractual requirements are fulfilled Review travel estimates and expense reports, compare trip objective with project scopes of work, and request necessary government authorizations for tripsMeet with government customers monthly to review actual data and forecastsCreate technical reports and review official contract documentsBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree preferred or High School Diploma with related experienceAbility to obtain DOD Security Level Security ClearanceEntry-level experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including ExcelStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a team environment and independently to satisfy program / business requirementsAbility to prepare and present various types of reports to all levels of ManagementJob BenefitsCompetitive SalaryPaid Time Off (PTO)11 Paid Holidays401(k) with MatchingMedical and Dental insuranceLife and Disability Insurance
