This travel CT technologist role is ideal for ARRT-certified techs who enjoy fast-paced trauma imaging, working nights, and living near the Atlantic coastline.Job Details Location: Myrtle Beach, SC 29572 - Myrtle Beach healthcare jobs, South Carolina CT jobs, coastal living near 60+ miles of beaches Facility: 400-bed hospital, Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center Unit: Radiology (Main Campus) - hospital radiology, emergency department CT support Assignment Type: Travel Contract (CT Technologist travel job) Start Date: May 4, 2026 End Date: August 3, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour nights) - night shift CT tech Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730 - $1,860 Dress Code: Charcoal grey scrubs Qualifications and Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I trauma setting or high-volume hospital radiology ARRT Radiography certification required; ARRT CT certification preferred Proficiency operating GE CT equipment (GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice) - GE CT experience preferred Ability to perform routine and advanced CT exams for emergency department and inpatient populations Experience with Meditech documentation system is a plus Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach Responsibilities Independently perform routine and advanced CT exams including trauma pan CT, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA for ED and inpatient cases Operate and maintain GE CT scanners, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety Manage high-volume imaging workload as part of an overnight technologist team (3 techs overnight), averaging up to 180 CT exams per day across three scanners Document procedures and patient information accurately in Meditech and other hospital systems Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Adhere to hospital and radiology department protocols, radiation safety, and infection control standards Why Myrtle Beach and This Travel CT Job Enjoy an exceptional travel CT technologist assignment in Myrtle Beach, SC - known for its boardwalk, oceanfront attractions, golf, and outdoor recreation.
