Junior Information Technology Consultant

This includes information technology - from servers, networking, website design – as well as general business services like social media, admin & finance, and organizational growth and marketing. Additionally, we offer individual career growth opportunities through resume writing, career counseling, life coaching, interview preparation, and college admissions counseling.  Junior IT Role We are looking to hire a Junior IT Specialist to support website development, maintenance, and server operations. This role will help ensure websites are functional, secure, and up to date while also assisting with server monitoring, troubleshooting, and routine infrastructure support. Ideal candidates have a foundation in web technologies, basic server administration, and strong problem-solving skills. The Specialist would support various WTPS client engagements, building website content, troubleshooting any issues, and communicating daily with the Project Manager with progress updates. The Specialist would occasionally be expected to interact directly with the client and attend client meetings. Success in this role would involve websites staying up to date and stable, any server issues being identified and resolved quickly, and keeping clear and current technical documentation.  Time Commitment:  Minimum ~10-week, variable week-to-week. Open to setting your own hours in line with client needs and supporting WTPS internal efforts if additional hours are desired. Pay:  Hourly, varies by client contract. Fixed WTPS internal work rate. Required Qualifications: Some understanding of server and database management (e.g., understanding of interconnectivity on technical scale)  Understanding of Windows and/or Linux server fundamentals Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website content management Experience with website platforms (e.g., Wix, WordPress, Bluehost, Squarespace, etc.)  Knowledge of troubleshooting methods for websites, applications, and servers Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills (e.g., general corporate skillset) Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field Experience with media editing platforms (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, etc.) Level of experience with Windows server management Level of experience with Active Directory
