In this vital role, you will help ensure the safe, compliant, and successful execution of pipeline, facility, tank, and related infrastructure projects. Collaborating closely with contractors and internal stakeholders, you'll be the eyes and ears on the ground, championing safety, enforcing standards, and ensuring that work is completed with the highest level of integrity. What You Get to Do: Lead with Safety - Enforce Safety Awareness Manual requirements, Life Safety Rules, and hazard mitigation practices. Actively identify, report, and help prevent near misses. Support Project Execution - Provide oversight for assigned pipeline, facility, and tank projects with minimal supervision, ensuring quality and compliance throughout. Ensure Compliance - Uphold company and regulatory requirements, complete required training, and maintain Operator Qualification (OQ) credentials. Maintain Documentation Excellence - Complete project and compliance documentation accurately and on time. Oversee Tools & Materials – Verify proper calibration of tools and ensure materials align with engineering standards. Communicate Effectively - Keep stakeholders informed with proactive, clear communication on progress, issues, and updates. Be Ready to Respond - Maintain required HAZWOPER and ICS certifications and be prepared to support emergency response when needed. What You Bring to the Table: High School Diploma or General Education Degree from an accredited institution. Ideally, 3+ years of experience as an Inspector or equivalent in the oil and gas industry. Valid driver's license in good standing and the ability to travel up to 75% of the time that may include driving long distances between job sites and overnight stays. Strong understanding of pipeline, tank, and terminal regulations and best practices Familiarity with coatings, hydrostatic testing, non-destructive examinations, and welding procedures. Advanced safety knowledge, particularly related to excavation and shoring. Proficiency with computers and smart tablets. Strong abilities in planning, situational awareness, attention to detail, and customer service. Ideally, 5+ years of experience as an inspector. 24 Hour HAZWOPER and OSHA 30 certification. Excavation Competent Person training and certification. Certified in CPWI, API, AMPP/NACE, and/or PMI.
