Internal Auditor -- Cryptocurrency/Private Equity (Contract – Remote)Harmer is partnering with a client seeking an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to support their team on a 3–6 month contract basis . This role will serve as a staff augmentation resource to help bridge a gap while the client conducts a search for a permanent hire.This is a fully remote opportunity .Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of audit experience , with a strong background in both private equity and cryptocurrency environments . This individual must be comfortable navigating complex, evolving financial landscapes and applying a practical, risk-focused audit approach .Key ResponsibilitiesPerform internal audit procedures across financial, operational, and compliance areasAssess and evaluate controls within private equity and cryptocurrency-related processesIdentify risks, gaps, and process improvement opportunitiesSupport audit planning, execution, and reporting activitiesPartner with internal stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendationsProvide hands‐on support to the internal audit function during a transitional periodQualifications8+ years of internal audit or related experienceStrong experience auditing within private equity environmentsDirect exposure to cryptocurrency / digital assets from an audit perspectiveSolid understanding of risk assessment, internal controls, and audit methodologiesAbility to operate independently in a remote environmentStrong communication skills and ability to interact with cross‐functional teamsContract duration: 3–6 months (Might go longer)#J-18808-Ljbffr
