For our client, we are seeking a Data Security Architect (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a healthcare environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $112,200 – $312,700 annuallyResponsibilities Define and lead the Data Security Architecture strategy for a complex hybrid data environment Evaluate and implement a Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) platform for sensitive data Develop a comprehensive data security architecture covering various protective measures Collaborate with the Data Office to integrate data security into data lifecycle management Establish security standards for cloud-native analytical environments and data platforms Oversee data security in platform migrations and regulatory compliance assessments Architect security controls for AI and ML pipelines, ensuring data protectionQualifications 6-10 years in Information Security or Data Security roles with a focus on data-centric initiatives Proficient in data security architecture principles like classification and encryption in hybrid environments Experience with major cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS, ensuring data security Hands-on with enterprise-scale data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks Knowledge of data governance and security frameworks; certifications like CISSP or CISM preferred Strong communication skills to convey security architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience in regulated industries like life sciences or healthcare is preferredBenefits Opportunity to shape and lead a critical data security architecture practice Engagement with senior stakeholders across global business units Access to a diverse range of healthcare data security challenges Collaboration with multiple departments including Legal and Compliance Exposure to cutting-edge data and AI technologies in a leading life sciences companyOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
