End-User Computing Manager
Job Summary:The Manager of End-User Computing Services (EUC) is responsible for managing and maintaining EUC systems that impact end-users, including desktop imaging, patch management, Citrix, SCCM, VDI applications, desktop apps, video teleconferencing platforms, and Office365 collaboration tools. This role ensures optimal staffing, infrastructure, and vendor relationships to support organizational IT goals.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Management & Leadership:Lead planning and management of all end-user technology platforms.Collaborate with IT leadership to develop strategic goals and IT initiatives.Provide technical leadership for solution development, implementation, and maintenance.Advise leadership on technology trends, industry standards, and regulatory developments.Foster cross-functional collaboration for high-quality IT solutions.Operational Management & Customer Support:Advise customers on IT solution functionality, maintenance, and integration.Recommend technology solutions to optimize business processes and enhance user experience.Define projects, timelines, SLAs, and KPIs; monitor performance metrics.Ensure IT solutions comply with organizational policies and standards.Maintain strong communication with customers regarding progress, priorities, and options.Talent Management:Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals delivering IT services.Promote an environment of trust, high morale, and open communication.Required Skills & Experience:Minimum 5 years in IT and 3 years in leadership roles.Strong problem-solving, decision-making, sound judgment, and assertiveness.Adaptable to change and able to work in ambiguous situations.Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.Strong leadership, logical thinking, reasoning, and recall abilities.Preferred Skills & Experience:10 years in IT and 5 years in leadership roles.Experience with Citrix, desktop imaging, patch management, SCCM, VDI, video teleconferencing platforms, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Office365.Change management and customer-focused mindset.Physical Requirements:Lifting 20-50 lbs; prolonged standing or sitting may be required.
