Job DescriptionBusiness Analyst - Hybrid - Minneapolis, MNLocation: Hybrid - Downtown Minneapolis (3 days onsite, 2 remote; Monday and Thursday required)Role OverviewThis Business Analyst will play a foundational role in a growing Information Services organization undergoing a multi-year technology transformation. As the first dedicated BA on the team, you will partner closely with business leaders, program managers, and technical teams to modernize platforms, improve data and process flows, and support enterprise SaaS solutions.This role is hands-on, highly collaborative, and well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, brings forward ideas, and is comfortable navigating ambiguity while building structure.What You'll DoPartner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and opportunities across core operational platformsTranslate business needs into clear, actionable functional and technical requirementsServe as a connective layer between business users, internal technology teams, and external vendorsSupport analysis, configuration, testing, and rollout of SaaS platforms, with primary focus on Workday and SalesforceDocument current-state and future-state processes, data flows, and system dependenciesEvaluate how data is used today and help shape how it should evolve as platforms and architecture modernizeParticipate in system and user acceptance testing, ensuring solutions meet functional needsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process redesign and operating model enhancementsEngage in discussions around emerging technologies, including AI capabilities, and help business partners understand potential value and use casesTechnology & Platform FocusSaaS platforms including Workday and SalesforceData and reporting environments supporting enterprise systemsCloud platforms in transition (current and future-state environments)Exposure to or interest in AI-enabled platform features is a plusWhat We're Looking For5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar technology-focused roleStrong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand complex systems and integrationsPrior experience supporting or implementing SaaS platforms; Workday experience strongly preferredAbility to translate between business and technical audiences with clarity and confidenceExperience working with data concepts, platforms, and system dependenciesComfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing prioritiesConfident communicator who is transparent, open to learning, and willing to take measured risksCollaborative mindset with the ability to influence without authorityNice to HaveExperience working alongside Product Managers or Program ManagersFamiliarity with Salesforce or Workday AI capabilitiesExposure to modern data platforms or cloud migrationsBackground in organizations undergoing IT or digital transformationWork Environment & CultureHybrid schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remoteCollaborative, high-accountability culture that values transparency and continuous learningLeadership approach that supports experimentation, learning quickly, and improving forwardCompensationCompetitive base salary between $100,000- $120,000Annual target bonus opportunity (up to 20%)Comprehensive benefits packageAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
