Multifamily Maintenance Technician

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Des Moines Metropolitan Area for a Multifamily Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing property systems, responding to maintenance requests, and preparing units for new tenants. The role also involves maintaining the overall cleanliness and safety of the properties, working closely with property managers, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Qualifications Proficiency in general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentryExperience with troubleshooting and repairing residential property systemsKnowledge of tools, equipment, and materials needed for property repairs and maintenanceStrong communication skills to effectively interact with property managers, team members, and tenantsAbility to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain attention to detailValid driver's license and access to reliable transportationExperience with building codes and safety regulations is a plusPrior experience as a maintenance technician or similar role is highly desirable
