Mid-Level Software Developer, Back End
Job Description: Antech Systems is seeking a mid-level software developer to join our team, specializing in software solutions to support the Navy’s Maintenance Program. As a back-end developer, you will work closely with front-end developers, designers, and domain experts to architect robust and resilient web services. You will have the opportunity to develop new features and as well as troubleshoot and optimize existing systems. Occasional travel to Chesapeake, VA may be required to facilitate team collaboration events. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to acquire a Security Clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-quality software solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
Explore and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency
Engage in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems as well as new features
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience with back-end software development
Strong proficiency in .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework, SQL Server
Demonstrated project experience in software development
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Experience with the following is a plus:
Git
Docker
Testing Framework (xUnit, nUnit, Selenium, etc)
US Navy Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) Experience
