We are looking for a Product Converting Operator to join our team in Weatherford, OK As a Product Converting Operator you will be responsible for operation of various types of equipment as training is completed including Spoolers, Hand knives, Auto lines, Pack lines, Base Line, Big Bertha, Roll Goods, and Guillotine. Responsible for loading and unloading unwind stands and setting up knife equipment for cutting film jumbos into sheet form. Performs quality testing and inputs data to computer. Responsible for meeting departmental objectives. Responsible for mentoring and training new operators. Responsible for preventative maintenance of equipment. Maintains cleanliness of area and ensures safe, productive work environment.Job Duties/Responsibilities:Must be able to set up, clean, and operate equipment and machineryVerify proper materials used to produce product per work orderSet up and operate process equipment according to SOP.Properly label and package product.Determine quality of input material and interpret results from testing.Able to perform duties requiring close tolerances, attention to test methods and frequent adjustments to meet quality requirementsPrioritizing workload.Meet Plant average for attendance.Qualifications:Key/Critical Competencies:Education: High school degree or GED requiredWork Environment:Strong communication skillsComputer skillsWork Schedule - (8) hour shifts plus overtime as dictated by business/operation needs (shifts may rotate as workload dictates)Safety - proper protective equipment required/provided (steel toed footwear, safety glasses with side shields, protective clothing - cut resistant gloves
