Embedded Software Engineer/ Technology Analyst Level 4 | Everett, Washington, United States Indotronix is seeking an :Embedded Software Engineer/ Technology Analyst Level 4 Location:-Everett, WA Bachelor of Science degree Start Time: 7am & End Time: 3:30 (we can be flexible on start and end time) Bachelor s Clearance Required To Start?: No Job Description Seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the full software development lifecycle for embedded and real-time aerospace systems. This role involves software design, development, integration, verification, troubleshooting, supplier coordination, and deployment activities while supporting complex aerospace and mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain embedded real-time software applicationsSupport full software development lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, architecture, coding, verification, validation, deployment, and troubleshootingDevelop software using programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, Rust, or AdaWork within Agile software development environments utilizing tools such as GitLab, VS Code, and related workflow platformsSupport integration and troubleshooting activities across software, hardware, operating systems, and network environmentsDevelop and maintain software architectures, designs, interfaces, and traceability documentationSupport software verification, validation, testing, and certification activities in compliance with industry and internal standardsCollaborate with cross-functional engineering, supplier, quality, safety, and project teamsParticipate in supplier coordination, risk mitigation, and project delivery activitiesUtilize software development and debugging tools including compilers, debuggers, requirements management tools, and analysis utilitiesSupport software process improvement initiatives and adherence to best practices for quality, safety, and performance Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or related technical field7+ years of experience in software development lifecycle activities including design, development, integration, verification, troubleshooting, and deploymentExperience with Agile software development methodologies and workflow tools such as GitLab and VS CodeExperience developing embedded real-time software using C, C++, Java, Python, Rust, or AdaExperience working with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)Strong understanding of hardware/software integration and system safety conceptsStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Preferred SkillsExperience with aerospace, defense, aircraft, missile, space, or mission-critical systemsKnowledge of software architecture and design methodologiesExperience with requirements management, traceability, and certification processesFamiliarity with software verification, validation, and testing processesExperience with compilers, debuggers, GUI tools, data analysis tools, and post-processing utilitiesKnowledge of supplier assessment, project coordination, and risk mitigation processesExperience supporting software development in compliance with industry standards and best practicesUnderstanding of operating systems, processors, networking, and embedded system environments Education / Experience Bachelor's degree with typically 10+ years of related software engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master's degree with 8+ years of experience).
