Safety ManagerLocation: Western New YorkEmployment Type: Full-time, On-siteCompensation• Salary range: $100,000 to $130,000 based on experience• End-of-year bonus• Profit sharing available• Monthly vehicle per diem• Company gas cardPosition OverviewThis opportunity is ideal for an experienced safety professional who thrives in a fast-paced industrial and construction environment. The Safety Manager will oversee safety operations for both a large mobile workforce and multiple manufacturing facilities within the mechanical trades and fabrication industry. This role is highly visible within the organization and requires someone who can lead by example, train and motivate employees, and build a strong culture of safety across the company.Key Responsibilities• Manage safety programs across three manufacturing facilities and field operations• Conduct safety audits and inspections for personnel, equipment, and job sites• Develop, update, and lead company-wide safety training programs• Conduct accident investigations and implement corrective action plans• Lead new employee safety onboarding and ongoing training initiatives• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory standards• Collaborate with leadership on claims management, EMR, and TRIR performance• Serve as the primary safety contact for project-site and vehicle incidents• Oversee facility inspections and safety committee initiatives• Support customer pre-qualification documentation and compliance efforts• Travel regionally to job sites throughout New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania as neededRequired Qualifications• 5–7+ years of safety management experience• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910 and OSHA 1926 regulations• Experience within industrial, mechanical contracting, manufacturing, sheet metal, or fabrication environments• Knowledge of confined space, rigging, purging process lines, and anhydrous ammonia• Strong communication, training, and leadership skills• Ability to influence employees and enforce safety standards professionally• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities• Comfortable speaking confidently in front of groups and leading trainingsBenefits• Medical insurance• Dental insurance• Vision insurance• 401(k) with profit sharing• Paid time off• 7 paid holidays• Company vehicle expense assistance• Stable, long-term career opportunity with a well-established organizationTo learn more, reach out to Adam today!
