Lead Engineer
Our client is a leading provider of small, medium-sized and large horsepower compression equipment for the oil and natural gas industry.Our client is seeking a Lead Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical leadership and oversight across engineering projects and teams. This role ensures projects are executed efficiently, meet industry standards, and align with business objectives.This position can be remote but would require regular travel to Tulsa, OK. Lead Engineer Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage engineering projects from initial design through completionCoordinate with cross-functional teams (design, production, procurement) to ensure timely deliveryEnsure accuracy and compliance of engineering deliverables, including drawings, BOMs, and P&IDsDevelop, review, and approve technical documentation and project specificationsEnsure compliance with applicable oil & gas industry codes and standards (ASME, API 11P, API 618, etc.)Design piping systems and separatorsProvide technical support and troubleshooting for field engineers and project teamsConduct cost analysis and support project estimating effortsPerform fleet/package selection based on sales inquiriesSupport additional engineering and operational initiatives as neededSupervising application engineering, project engineering, and drafting teamsLead Engineer Preferred Experience10+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry5+ years of compression-related experienceExperience with natural gas systems, compressors, pumps, and turbinesWorking knowledge of NFPA 70 and ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical manualsLead Engineer RequirementsStrong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of safety practices for flammable gases, liquids, and high-pressure systemsStrong understanding of regulatory and safety standardsProven leadership and collaboration skillsAuthorized to work in the U.S.Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVREmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug screening, MVR checks, and DOT physical#INDOMNi
