Creative Content and Social Media Specialist

Job DescriptionOrganizational Description: Legal Outreach is a 41-year-old, legal education and college preparatory non-profit that prepares urban youth for higher education and professional careers through law-related, academic skill development and support programs that operate year-round. We are seeking a Creative Content and Social Media Specialist to develop and implement content strategies across digital platforms, with a focus on social media and capturing videos and pictures of our programming. The selected individual will be responsible for creating high-quality content that aligns with our organization’s voice and goals, driving engagement and fostering a strong online presence. Primary Duties:Attend classes and other organization events to capture students and organization partners in actionDevelop content (graphics, videos, social media posts) that promote the students and programsPlan, execute, and monitor social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build an online community around the brand. Track social media trends and adapt strategies to maintain relevance. Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s identity, tone, and messaging. Maintain consistency across all digital platforms. Skills:ability to generate innovative content, ideas, and campaignsstrong writing, editing and verbal communication skillsproficiency in social media platformsknowledge of design softwareQualifications:Experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing. A strong portfolio showcasing content and social media work.
