Real Estate Paralegal-California
Our client, a dynamic owner-operator of single family and multi-family homes, is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to support a wide range of real estate and commercial contracting matters.Responsibilities for this role include the following:Manage real estate matters and disputes, including title claims, vendor disputes, eminent domain proceedings, CC&R enforcement actions, easements, access agreements and related mattersSupport disposition transactions in collaboration with title insurance and escrow companies to resolve third-party liens, title defects and similar mattersReview and revise easement agreements, HOA governance documents and other real estate agreementsSupport commercial contract negotiation, execution and life-cycle management, including reviewing and revising contracts, coordinating and circulating feedback to internal and external stakeholders, monitoring progress and deadlines, facilitating execution, summarizing key terms, and maintaining a database of contracts tracking life-cycle events and other key metricsApplicants must have the following qualifications in order to be considered:Paralegal with 5+ years' experience with a major law firm and/or reputable in-house legal environmentSignificant experience supporting real estate transactions, including experience reviewing title insurance and resolving title-related issuesExperience reviewing and revising real estate documents, including deeds, HOA governance documents, easements, lien releases and SNDAsExperience supporting full life-cycle of commercial contracts, including negotiation, execution, and administration is desiredExperience working with contract and/or matter management toolsFamiliarity with litigation, including foreclosures, is desired
