Math Content Reviewer, gt.school (Remote) - $100,000/year USD
You're a middle-school mathematics specialist who catches incorrect fractions before they reach a single student. You've worked directly with grades 4–8—teaching, tutoring, or developing curriculum—and you know how to write feedback students can actually use. "Good enough" doesn't make it past you when learners depend on what you approve. We're developing an AI-driven math content system that produces questions, articles, and video lessons at scale, but we refuse to sacrifice correctness for volume. The market chases output. We pursue quality. Your role is the human checkpoint that prevents thousands of learners from absorbing an AI's overconfident errors, vague explanations, or quietly compromised standards. This position centers on rigorous quality control of AI-generated middle school mathematics material: verifying accuracy, reasoning, developmental appropriateness, and pedagogy; identifying conceptual pitfalls, unclear language, and faulty logic; and delivering concise, structured feedback that enables rapid remediation by another team. This is precision-focused work requiring high standards, keen attention, and absolute intolerance for mathematically flawed or instructionally damaging content. You'll function as the final checkpoint in the content pipeline before publication, evaluating material delivered through spreadsheets or a dedicated internal platform and converting your analysis into actionable issue documentation. If you work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy, flag problems without excessive elaboration, and prioritize student outcomes over diplomacy with algorithms, this role is worth your consideration. What You Will Be DoingEvaluating AI-generated mathematics questions, articles, and video content to detect problems related to mathematical correctness, academic standards, pedagogical effectiveness, and developmental suitability, then delivering specific actionable feedback that allows a separate team to remediate the material before student access.Math Content Reviewer Key ResponsibilitiesConfirm that AI-produced mathematics academic content undergoes thorough quality verification for mathematical correctness, academic integrity, and instructional effectiveness.Basic RequirementsYou hold a university degree in Math Education (not simply Mathematics)You possess a minimum of 4 years of experience teaching, tutoring, or developing EdTech curriculum with a focus on mathematics for grades 4–8You are presently located in the USAbout Gt.schoolGT School is revolutionizing education with AI, expert coaching, and 50+ years of learning science.
