UAB Hospital is Alabama’s first American College of Surgeons (ACS)-verified adult Level I Trauma Center. This unit is led by advanced practice providers (APPs), which means a provider is always available for our trauma patients. As part of the TRU team, you’ll enjoy working with an interdisciplinary care team, providing patient- and family-centered care for optimum outcomes. Plus, this unit has been recognized for efficient discharge processes and outstanding quality metrics.Job DescriptionTo assume responsibility for certain technical aspects of patient care as directed by the RN/LPN for the hospital. To obtain and record vitals, weight, inputs and outputs. To successfully complete an in-house PCT training program. To demonstrate an awareness of patient and personal safety.QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED required.
