You play a critical role in improving automation, enhancing system reliability, and supporting development practices that elevate customer and user experiences.What You'll DoDevelop and enhance functional systems through scalable, secure, and automated solutions that improve performance and reliability across applications and platforms.Write and maintain scripts in SQL, Python and C#/.NET Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, development workflows, and automation processes to support efficient software delivery.Conduct root cause analysis of production issues, contribute to system troubleshooting, and build tools that reduce errors and enhance maintainability.Support application development by analyzing existing systems, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to new features aligned with customer needs.Implement and monitor essential security measures such as code scanning, encryption, and secure pipeline practices to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.Perform system and application testing to diagnose and resolve performance issues while strengthening user experience.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve product quality, inform architectural decisions, and shape development best practices across the organization.What You'll Bring – RequiredLegally authorized to work in the job posting countryBachelors Computer Science, Data Science, or MIS3 or more years of relevant software engineering or development experienceIntermediate proficiency in Intermediate proficiency in Python, C#, .NET, and Power BIExperience supporting CI/CD processes, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelinesAbility to diagnose system issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop solutions that improve performance and reliabilityWhat Makes You Stand Out – PreferredExperience with automation tools, infrastructure‑as‑code, or cloud resource managementBackground in full‑stack or low‑code development environmentsFamiliarity with Agile development practices, including Kanban and iterative testingStrong capability in user experience design techniques, prototyping, and usability testingExperience implementing or improving integration, regression, or automated testing frameworksDemonstrated ability to generate innovative ideas and contribute to product or service enhancementsKnowledge of secure development practices and experience integrating security controls into workflowsStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage complexityCompensation RangeThis position has a base salary range of $96,300- $117,700.At Phillips 66, we are committed to pay transparency and competitive, equitable compensation.
