We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as a Sr SAP ABAP Developer working remotely in the US. ROLE COMMITMENTS Own the ABAP value stream. Assist in the resolution of process and integration design issues. Review plans and provide guidance to project team during build, data conversion, testing, cutover, and service transition to ensure a successful go-live Provide delivery support and assist in resolving open SAP Solution architecture related risks and issues – by leveraging experience. Responsible for functional specifications, data conversion, integration specifications. Provide thought Leader, best practice, and Subject Matter Expertise for ABAP. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop a complete understanding of the IFIT processes, apply industry leading practices and detail global standard templates for the implementation. Ensure the Global Template is adequately detailed so that data requirements, system configuration needs, and the global and regional processes are clearly defined, and can be carried out appropriately by the businesses and practitioners. Understand SAP S/4 system capabilities for their specific process area, complete fit/gap analysis with the standard processes and document gaps for the system solutions. Gaps will need to be categorized by impact to customers, compliance, or efficiency and prioritized/supported with a business case. Support S/4 implementation team in developing, validating, and implementing business specific use cases and test scripts. Lead and coordinate process mapping and prioritization of business capabilities to support superior customer experience, product stewardship, hazard communication, and regulatory compliance. Act as an ambassador for the IT team and provide thought leadership to our business partner Requirements: 15+Years of experience in ABAP programming Familiarity with these SAP Functional modules: Asset Management (EAM), Finance (FI), Controlling/Cost Management (CO), Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management/Warehouse Management (IMWM), Project Systems (PS), Sales and Distribution/Reimbursables (SD), Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Experience in S/4 HANA and FIORI Interface design, development, customization of whole SAP standard and custom (EDI, ALE, IDOC, BAPI, RFC) experience Solid skills in RFC, BAPI, Dialog Programming, Function Modules, ALV Reports, SAP scripts, Smart Forms, Adobe forms, BTE, Screen Painter, Menu Painter and Data Dictionary Objects Knowledge of relevant application and computing environments and application development tools language Knowledgeable in Cloud Technologies Agile Processes Experience with JIRA Ability to work in the US without the need for Visa Sponsorship
