Drivers are responsible for the inbound and outbound towing of light duty vehicles - including motorcycles, travel trailers, and various other vehicles that can be fixed to a standard ball hitch - for a diversified customer base. The pickup and delivery of vehicles according to Due Dates for all work assigned through the RB Global Dispatch Team is essential. Drivers will provide status updates to customers and dispatchers, and will perform all communication, paperwork, condition reporting, and imaging required, including title verification, as necessary.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate company tow trucks and tow light duty vehicles without causing damage to vehicles in towPerform pre and post trip inspections to ensure towed vehciles are not damagedSafely tow customer vehiclesPerform pre and post trip inspections to ensure tow trucks are in good working order and comply with all safety requirementsCollaberate with the IAA Dispatch Team and be a positive influenceProvide excellent customer serviceRecord all pickup and delivery events, and capture all necessary information, including images, on the IAA Tow AppVerify title information when title pickup is required with the assigned vehicle, and communicate any discrepencies with the IAA Dispatch TeamEnsure all assigned tow jobs are completed on, or before, the due dateOther duties as assigned per business needs Qualifications Minimum 1-year towing / transport experienceMust be attentive and drive with careMust possess route planning and efficiency skillsAbility to deal with hazards and obstructions when presentedCustomer service skillsGeneral mechanical knowledge of trucks and automobilesDetail orientedExcellent written and oral communication skillsPossess a valid Class D Drivers License with a clean driving recordWillingness to work 12-14hr shifts including weekend and holidaysDispatch experienceoutdoors year-round
