Job Title: Locum - Physician - Surgery - Cardiothoracic Summary: Join our healthcare team in the vibrant city of San Bernardino, California! We are seeking a dedicated NP/PA Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum position lasting up to 6 months. The facility, located in the Inland Empire, provides a supportive environment with a focus on quality patient care in both hospital and medical office settings. Job Responsibilities: Assist in cardiothoracic surgeries and perform hospital rounding. Manage on-call duties, including patient consultations and surgical assistance. Engage in rooming patients, charting, and ensuring accurate medical documentation. Perform required procedures such as CABG, AVRs, and lung surgeries. Collaborate with a team of 3 other Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Round on patients daily, addressing their needs and concerns. Qualifications: Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery is required; candidates Board Certified in General Surgery with CT Surgery fellowship will also be considered. Active California State License is required. Current BLS certification during credentialing is required. Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of presentation. A clean malpractice history is highly preferred. License and Certification Requirements: Board Certified in CT Surgery (Required). Active California State License (Required).
