You’ll partner with leaders to drive performance, elevate talent, ensure compliance, and help support payroll functions to insure it’s running smoothly—while building a culture people actually want to be part of.You’re a trusted advisor, a problem-solver, and someone who can bring both credibility and a little personality to the table.What You’ll Do 20%Operations & Business Partnership- Support the VP of HR, HR team and leadershipPartner with leaders to align people strategies with business goals (capacity, productivity, growth)Be present on the floor—understand workflows, challenges, and opportunities firsthandCoach managers on performance, accountability, and leadership effectivenessHelp leaders make smart, fair, and timely people decisionsTalent & Employee Experience 10%Build strong pipelines through creative and community-based recruiting strategiesChampion engagement, retention, and a culture of accountability + respectPayroll & Compliance 10%Assist with Payroll details and support the Payroll SpecialistEnsure Compliance with CA, CO, and/or multi-state employment lawsPerformance & Growth 40%Support performance management cycles, coaching, and development plansIdentify talent gaps and help build succession plansUse data (turnover, headcount, productivity) to guide decisions—not guesswork
