Estimation Engineer (Dallas)

Estimating Engineer – Industrial ConstructionEstimating Engineer opportunity supporting industrial construction projects with a growing and well-established construction team. This role will work closely with preconstruction and operations teams to assist with budgeting, estimating, subcontractor coordination, and bid preparation across a variety of industrial projects.Projects may include manufacturing facilities, processing plants, distribution centers, warehouses, tilt wall facilities, PEMB structures, and other large-scale industrial construction work.ResponsibilitiesAssist with budgeting, estimating, and preconstruction efforts for industrial construction projectsReview drawings, specifications, and bid documents to support accurate project estimatesPerform quantity takeoffs and scope analysis for assigned trades and project componentsSolicit subcontractors and suppliers, distribute bid information, and help coordinate bid coverageAnalyze subcontractor and vendor quotations to support competitive and accurate pricingWork closely with preconstruction and operations teams throughout the estimating processMaintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliersSupport bid leveling, scope reviews, and proposal development effortsAssist with maintaining subcontractor and vendor databasesHelp identify project risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities during preconstructionQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredProven interest in industrial construction and estimatingStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExperience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, or similar construction softwareInternship or prior estimating/preconstruction experience with a general contractor preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented construction environmentCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryBonus opportunityFull benefits packagePTO and paid holidaysContinued training and professional development opportunitiesLong-term growth opportunities within preconstruction and estimating operations
