Import/Export Coordinator

Our Client in Romulus, MI is seeking a motivated and organized Import/Export Coord. to join their team to assist with processing inbound or outbound shipments, including documentation and traffic coordination. Pay Rate: $20.00(Negotiable based on experience) Mon-Fri/ 9:30AM-5PM Full Time/ 3-Month+ project Weekly Pay Job Duties: Review and process documentation for accounts, ensuring regulatory compliance. Interface with internal systems to provide timely updates and communications. Assist in the development of new accounts and maintain client profiles. Arrange delivery, receipt, and invoicing for accounts requiring technical handling. Ensure compliance by processing Customs release, OGA release, and cargo delivery. Investigate and resolve issues or irregularities, escalating when necessary. Continuously expand knowledge of processes and systems. Perform other related duties as needed, including Import/Export Specialist II tasks. Required Qualifications: Experience: 3-6 years of related experience. Professional certification may be required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-specific software. Accurate typing/data entry skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
