Systems Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Collaborate with colleagues, support contractors, and government personnel to develop and deploy advanced satellite communications capabilities. Serve as a key Systems Integrator, ensuring successful integration of space, ground, and crypto segments to meet user requirements. Provide direct support to the Chief Engineer and manage the internal engineering team for the program office. Leverage technical expertise and innovative thinking to deliver critical capabilities addressing national security threats. Contribute to program reviews and the risk management process for complex defense acquisition programs.What You'll Need 2+ years of experience in systems engineering or integration for DoD satellite or ground systems. Experience with DoD program reviews (e.g., SRR, SDR, SFR, PDR, CDR). Proven experience with risk management for space, ground, software, and hardware systems within Major Defense Acquisition Programs. Familiarity with identifying, analyzing, and managing program risks, issues, and opportunities. Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or Digital Engineering approaches. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science. A Secret clearance.What's On Offer A competitive salary range of $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 annually.
