Nurse Practitioner Psychiatry

Providence is seeking a full-time Psychiatric nurse practitioner to join an established team and clinic in Anchorage, Alaska.The Crisis Stabilization Center (CSC) provides short-term, intensive behavioral health crisis care for individuals experiencing acute psychiatric distress. The program operates under a 23-hour observation model and serves as an alternative to emergency department boarding and inpatient hospitalization. Because of the acuity and rapid clinical decision-making required, nurse practitioners are a core, on-site presence in the CSC.The CSC provides immediate psychiatric access, reduces emergency department boarding, and prevents unnecessary inpatient admissions.
