Overview:
We are in the search of a motivated individual to join our dynamic team and support our sales efforts in corporate group bookings and events. The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in assisting with lead management, client interactions, and event coordination. This role is ideal for someone eager to start or further their career in hospitality sales with a focus on excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
● Lead Assistance and Follow-Up:
○ Support the Sales Manager and Director of Sales in identifying and following up on potential leads for room bookings and events.
○ Assist in maintaining accurate records of client interactions and follow-ups using CRM systems.
● Sales Support:
○ Help prepare and organize sales presentations and proposals for corporate clients.
○ Assist in executing sales strategies and achieving team revenue targets.
● Client Interaction:
○ Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing basic inquiries and providing information about services.
○ Support the Sales Manager and Director of Sales in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
● Event Coordination:
○ Assist in coordinating events by liaising between clients and internal teams to ensure all requirements are met.
○ Help with logistical arrangements, including catering, audiovisual equipment, and accommodations.
● Reporting and Administration:
○ Compile and maintain reports on sales activities, client interactions, and event details.
○ Support administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings and managing client databases.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
● At least 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
● Basic understanding of sales processes and CRM software.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
● Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and support a team.
