System Verification Engineer (Contract)Location: Burlington, Vermont (On-site, 5 days/week)Employment Type: 12 month initial contractSecurity Requirement: U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Persons OnlyPay: Flexible dependent on experience OverviewWe are seeking a System Verification Engineer to support a high-priority aerospace program focused on commercial and military fuel systems and proximity sensing technologies. The role supports critical certification and validation activities for a key aerospace customer, where program delivery timelines are currently under pressure due to delays.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute DO-178B/C compliant software test casesPerform structural coverage analysis to ensure certification complianceManage and maintain requirements traceability using DOORSExecute verification testing in a manual and semi-automated hardware-in-the-loop environmentIdentify, assess, and clearly communicate technical and program risksSupport debugging and root cause analysis of system and software issuesCollaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure on-time verification deliveryRequired Skills & Experience2–3+ years of experience in software or system verification (aerospace strongly preferred)Strong hands-on experience with:DO-178B/C test case developmentDOORS (requirements management tool)Structural coverage analysisAbility to clearly communicate technical risks and impacts to stakeholdersMust be able to work on-site in Burlington, Vermont, 5 days per weekU.S. Citizenship or U.S. Person status requiredBonus ExperienceExperience with Subversion (SVN) or other version control systemsFamiliarity with source-to-object code analysisExperience working in legacy or manual/semi-automated test environments
