About OneGuideOneGuide powers portfolio resource hubs for PE and VC firms. With OneGuide, firms can centralize guides, templates, experts, vendors and peer communities to help portfolio companies grow faster. We’re a small team (6 people) but an established startup (3 years old, profitable).From a technical standpoint, OneGuide is built on WordPress as a multisite; each of our clients has their own portfolio knowledge hub site with hundreds of member users and a few admin users. We use a combination of third-party and custom plugins.ResponsibilitiesWe’re looking for a full-time WordPress Developer, reporting to the Founder. Responsibilities include:Develop and maintain functionalityDevelop and maintain custom plugins, including testingBuild and customize themesDesign and implement React components and applications that consume data from WordPress, ensuring efficient and scalable front-end experiencesImplement automated testingImplement and manage third-party API integrationsProvide support and troubleshoot issuesManage our multisite network to ensure performancePerform regular updates, optimizations, and troubleshooting for WordPress sites to ensure performanceManage hosting environments, including server setup, optimization, and troubleshootingManage site backupsAdd and remove sites from the multisite networkManage third-party pluginsHandle third-party plugin integration and management, ensuring compatibility and performance, working with plugin developers/support as neededManage settings on third-party pluginsEvaluate new plugins for new use cases, and advise on “buy vs. build” decisionsQualifications & Skills5+ years of professional development experienceStrong Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL and React3+ years of WordPress experience, ideally with WordPress MultisiteFamiliarity with Headless WordPress and API IntegrationExperience with collaborative workflows using Git, including pull requests and code reviewsExperience with Automated Testing for WordPressHosting and Server Management ExpertiseProblem-solving and Support SkillsStrong Communication and Collaboration SkillsApply via this form: https://forms.gle/kTZ3dRXK2wsoJv6P9
