We are the #1 pork producer in the state of Tennessee and top 30 in the United States. Position Overview: The Fuel Techs primary responsible is to fuel remote equipment, barn fuel tanks and tractors. In addition to fueling the equipment, Fuel Techs will be responsible for removing dust and other debris from farm equipment during harvest and also working in the shop performing light maintenance on all kinds of equipment and vehicles. In this role you should expect to: Drive company truck with fuel trailer safely to and from job sites Keep timely fuel and service schedules for our mobile equipment Provide light preventative service/maintenance to the equipment Check antifreeze and hydraulic fluid on equipment Collaborate with mechanics to ensure other service is completed on fleet and remote equipment Clean off dust from farming equipment during harvest using air compressor Change oil and tires on equipment and trucks Champion a Safety Culture Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently and up to 30 pounds repeatedly Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time Must be able to walk, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, climb Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat and cold) Able to work in dusty environments Ability to drive and operate company truck Repetitive use of both hands to perform maintenance tasks Tosh Farms does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.
