Approximately 75% of this role focuses on fundraising strategy and execution, with 25% dedicated to cultivating partnerships and external relationships that strengthen our mission and long-term sustainability.Starting salary of $75,000 annuallyKey ResponsibilitiesFundraising & Development Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including: Annual giving Major gifts Planned giving (Legacy Club) Grants and special campaigns Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of major donors and prospective supporters Lead donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts through personalized engagement strategies Partner with executive leadership and the Board of Directors to identify and engage key donors Oversee donor communications, including fundraising campaigns, impact reporting, and recognition programs Manage and expand planned giving and endowment initiatives Track, analyze, and report on fundraising performance to ensure goal achievement Ensure compliance with nonprofit fundraising regulations and best practices Community Relations & Public Engagement Serve as a visible representative of SSC within the community Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with healthcare systems, nonprofits, civic organizations, and local businesses Represent SSC at community events, speaking engagements, and public forums Collaborate with marketing and leadership to elevate brand awareness and storytelling Identify opportunities to position SSC as a leader in senior care and community wellness Leadership & Collaboration Partner closely with the CEO, leadership team, and Board of Directors to align development strategies with organizational priorities Support and engage board members in fundraising and outreach efforts Foster a culture of philanthropy across the organization Collaborate across departments to align fundraising initiatives with programs and community impact Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years of experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit leadership preferred Proven success in fundraising and relationship management Experience in healthcare, senior services, or nonprofit environments strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to build and sustain community partnerships Strong public presence with excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results Why Join SSC?At Sheboygan Senior Community, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors while helping shape the future of a mission-driven organization.
