We invite you to join the team where you can build, innovate, and secure your career.Sentar is seeking a Cyber Capability Developer in Chantilly, VA!Role DescriptionAs a Cyber Capability Developer you will research, develop, and execute operational and analytic capabilities to support technical operations in solving unique challenges posed by criminal and national security actors. You will work within the Rapid Application Development (RAD) team to build tools and capabilities for tactical teams performing incident response and computer network operations and exploitation (CNO/CNE).Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and test operational prototypes for tactical teamsConduct analysis of case and intelligence related cyber data to develop advanced analytical toolsPerform research of novel capabilities derived from technical analysisResearch emerging technologies, exploitation techniques, and custom toolsPerform reverse engineering of cyber actor tools and techniques to advance defensesPerform network analysis and design for law enforcement operationsConduct vulnerability research and analysis of technical informationSupport systems integration for law enforcement operationsDevelop custom scripts and tools for data collection and analysisImplement secure development practices for sensitive operational toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutionsAdapt to the exigent nature of work which may require long and odd service hoursQualificationsClearance Level: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fieldExperienceMinimum of 8 years of experience in cyber operations or related fieldDemonstrated experience developing advanced capabilities for cyber operationsStrong understanding of offensive and defensive cyber operationsExperience mentoring junior developers and leading technical effortsAdvanced Proficiency With Advanced programming in multiple languagesComplex malware analysis and reverse engineeringExploit development and vulnerability researchAdvanced network analysis and protocol manipulationTool development for specialized cyber operationsCustom data processing and analytics pipelinesSecure coding practices for operational toolsCloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S)DevSecOps practices for rapid deploymentAdditional Technical ExperienceExperience with: Digital forensics tools and techniquesMemory analysis and disk forensicsThreat intelligence platformsElasticsearch, Splunk, and other data platformsVirtualization technologiesEncryption and obfuscation techniquesMobile device analysisIncident response methodologiesWork EnvironmentPrimary location: Chantilly, VAMay require domestic and international travel due to the exigent nature of the workMust be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background check and polygraph examinationMay require long and odd service hours as dictated by operational needsBenefits At SentarOur unique ownership model attracts top talent, giving employees the freedom to take initiative and drive meaningful improvements.
