Position Title : QA Automation Engineer – Playwright & API Testing Location : Charlotte, NC (Onsite/Hybrid from Day 1) Experience : 6+ Years Employee Type : Full Time with Benefits Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright-based automation testing and API testing to ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end (E2E) testing, regression testing, and API validation, with a good understanding of the Insurance domain, particularly Underwriting, Policy Administration, and Claims processes.The candidate will work closely with development, business, and onsite teams to deliver high-quality software solutions within aggressive release timelines.Mandatory SkillsStrong hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Playwright.Experience in API Testing using REST/SOAP services.Hands-on experience with Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI, or equivalent tools.Experience in End-to-End (E2E), Integration, and Regression Testing.Good understanding of the Insurance domain, preferably Underwriting, Policy Administration, and Claims.Strong defect management and test execution experience. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.Execute and validate API testing across multiple services.Perform E2E, integration, and regression testing.Identify, track, triage, and validate defects.Collaborate with Development, Business, and Onsite teams for requirement clarification and issue resolution.Support release cycles and ensure adherence to quality gates and entry/exit criteria.Analyze defects and drive timely resolution to meet release timelines.
