This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in doing the job right, mentoring others, and upholding high standards on every project.Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee electrical installations on commercial and multifamily construction projectsInterpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper layout and installationSupervise and support journeymen, apprentices, and helpers on siteEnsure all work is completed in accordance with local and national electrical codesMaintain a strong focus on jobsite safety, quality, and efficiencyCommunicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and inspectorsQualifications: Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experiencePrior leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong knowledge of NEC and local codesAbility to read and interpret construction documentsValid driver's license and reliable transportationFlorida journeyman or master electrician license (preferred)We also offer a full benefits package that includes: Health Insurance - 4 different plans to choose fromDental/Vision/Life401K MatchingPaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysEmployee Referral ProgramPhysical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed during the workday.Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.Ability to safely navigate construction sites, including uneven surfaces and ladders.Must be able to use hand tools and power tools required for electrical tasks.Ability to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, etc.).Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.Owen Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer#OECPowered by JazzHR
