This role would be based in our manufacturing facility in Neenah, WI.We’re looking for people who embody our values, aren’t afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. If this is you, we’d love to talk.What You Will DoLead our overall site master plan to reduce waste:Partner with our department leadership teams to develop action plans to identify and eliminate causes of waste in our manufacturing processOwn the overall site waste resultManage our finished product holds including:Disposition plans for any product on hold productImplement actions to eliminate causes and prevent recurrences of holdsManage customer complaints for our site:Partner with our department leadership teams to develop action plans to eliminate root causes of customer complaints from their areasOwn the facility Plain Manufacturing Software System for the site including:Reviewing and continuously improving the operator quality checklists and changeover checklistsManaging any changes to product specificationsAdding any new manufacturing materials into the systemLead our Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification program for the site including:Being the site lead SQF practitionerLeading the site through annual SQF auditsDevelop and implement action plans to improve any gaps versus the SQF standardCollaborate with our department leadership teams and operators to improve centerlines and CILs, aimed at improving waste, quality defects, and machine efficiency.Develop and execute qualification plans for new equipment, new products, or product changes.Work with the Initiatives Manager and Quality Team to identify and implement cost savings projects.Lead small projects across the converting manufacturing site related to new equipment or new processes.Who You AreBachelor’s degree in an engineering field, a related field, or quality systems, or have equivalent experienceOne or more years’ experience in a technical role in a manufacturing environment. Internship or Co-op could be substituted for experience requirement.
