Manufacturing Maintenance II

Job Summary Independently performs preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation. Essential Job Functions* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures. Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Replace motors, drives, sensors, and other components. Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Support equipment startups and validations after maintenance. Document completed work in the CMMS system. Identify recurring failures and improvement opportunities. Support downtime reduction initiatives. Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of maintenance, industrial, or related experience. Competencies - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in industrial manufacturing equipment. Skill in diagnosing and repairing equipment failures using systematic troubleshooting methods. Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals. Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and schedules. Ability to perform maintenance work safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Ability to document maintenance activities accurately using a computerized maintenance management system. Ability to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks in support of production demands. Operational Equipment N/A Work Environment and Physical Demands Work Environment Packaging - Material Handler: Self-paced, 10 hr shifts. May be exposed to fumes, loud noises, and extreme temperatures infrequently. Functional near, far and peripheral vision and functional hearing required. Physical Demands Packaging - Material Handler: Heavy, lifting up to 85 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 280 lbs.
