Responsible for operating blending/packaging/storage tank equipment related to material handling and movements within the production operations in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, and production schedules.,sans-serif"> 2. Responsible for operating and monitoring equipment and process to produce quality chemical intermediates and finished products to a pre-determined operations plan. Provides troubleshooting expertise. Identifies equipment/process problems/ improvement opportunities and communicates findings as appropriate. The Optima Process is a multi-product spray dry facility which produces food and infant grade dry beadlet forms of various fat-soluble vitamins and omega 3 fatty acids. The Optima products fall within 5 product families: Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin D, Rocoat Vitamin B products, and Omega 3 fatty acids such as Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) and Arachidonic Acid (ARA).2. Certifications of the plant include ISO 9001 / 14001; OU Kosher;3. This position is overtime eligible. The schedule may be structured with a required overtime component built in. Candidates must be able to work shifts, weekends, overtime (including coverage) and holidays as required. Sets own priorities to assure production schedule is maintained with multiple production lines in operation. This requires decisions on which line to focus on and whether loading more material or packaging will take priority and management of movement of materials.2. Performs equipment reliability troubleshooting and minor maintenance.3. Performs inspections and cleaning of equipment to assure product integrity.
