Cloud Engineer - Remote / Telecommute

Job Overview:Pay Range:$50hr - $55hrRequirement/Must Have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure management, or DevOps. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure and services. Knowledge of networking, security, storage, compute, and identity management within cloud environments.Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Client Templates, or Bicep. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Shell scripting. Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Responsibilities:Implement, manage, and support cloud infrastructure and platform services across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments. Collaborate with Cloud Architects and delivery teams to design, build, and deploy cloud solutions. Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and availability. Support cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Client Templates, or Bicep.Automate cloud deployments and operational processes using scripting and DevOps tools. Monitor cloud resources, system health, security, and compliance requirements. Participate in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance optimization activities. Implement cloud security best practices, access controls, and governance policies. Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and release management activities. Work with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure successful solution delivery. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing solutions.Nice to Have:AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud certifications. Experience with cloud monitoring and observability tools. Knowledge of serverless computing and cloud-native application development. Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
