Control Room Operator

We are seeking a Lead Control Room Operator to support the operation of a fully automated process plant. This role is primarily control room based with occasional field involvement and plays a key role in maintaining overall plant performance and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and operate a fully automated process plant from the control room with occasional field involvementServe as the central point of control for plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous performanceOperate and monitor plant systems through an HMI and PLC interfaceStart and stop motors and open and close valves both remotely and in the fieldMonitor pressure, temperature, flow, and other system data to optimize performanceTroubleshoot operational issues using system controls and real time data trendsMaintain and switch pumps and other rotating equipmentEnsure continuous and efficient process flow across the facilityDirect and coordinate outside operators via radio communicationAct as the primary decision maker for plant operationsQualifications and Preferred Background5+ years of experience in industrial process operations within a process driven environment such as chemical, gas processing, or similar facilitiesExperience operating automated systems using HMI and PLC control systemsStrong understanding of process plant operations, ideally within gas processing or similar industriesHands on experience with compressors, pumps, valves, blowers, and rotating equipmentFamiliarity with instrumentation and process control systemsAbility to read and interpret P&IDs and operating manualsExperience using process data to troubleshoot and optimize systemsAbility to line up systems for startup and shutdownProven ability to lead, communicate effectively, and direct field personnelComfortable making real time operational decisions and mentoring team membersBackground in renewable natural gas, chemical processing, natural gas, or similar industrial environments is preferred
